Overview This represents a rare opportunity to own a beautifully-appointed and cared for 2016 Fleming 65. This F65, hull 42 was originally outfitted by Burr Yachts, who have perfected the Fleming outfitting process over the last 30 years. Unlike the vast majority of Flemings sold, we look forward to working directly with the client or through buyers' representation. Unique to this hull, in lieu of the bar on the port aft corner of the salon, the original owner specified a custom desk and pivoting stool seat. Bottle storage was relocated to oversize drawer aft of refrigerator and glass storage via a lovely curved teak door opposite. In addition to the standard galley appliances package, ODYSSEY added optional oven, dishwasher, insta-hot and reverse osmosis filtered water dispensers. From a technological standpoint, she is outfitted with KVH V-SAT system for high speed internet anywhere, KVH TracVision HD-7 satellite TV antenna, FCI Max Q APC 1800 GPD water maker, FLIR camera, synthetic exterior teak cap rails, teak decks throughout, removeable sun pad for bow trunk cabin, custom Release Marine teak cockpit table with compass rose inlay and a full enclosure on flybridge which can be partially or fully removed. All systems mechanical services are not only up to date but have been performed per the manufacturer recommendations since commissioning.
Descriptions INTRODUCTIONThe Fleming 65 boasts classic lines making it instantly apparent that she shares the same incomparable pedigree. She provides expanded living and sleeping space yet offers superior visibility - a hallmark of the Fleming design - making her a popular choice for boaters seeking a larger vessel without the need for a crew, but with accommodations for captain, if desired. Added fuel storage makes the 65 the perfect option for long-range cruising. The Fleming 65 is low to the water allowing for exceptional ease of access dockside. While a notable 18' 8" beam adds a significant amount of interior space, prop pockets keep the draft to just five feet with one foot of protection from the running gear to the bottom of the keel. Her interior features the traditional layout of the Fleming 55 which, with the added space, allows for additional customization of the accommodations and salon. A spacious salon offers an array of seating options for relaxing and dining, while the integrated galley is efficiently laid out and very well equipped. Large windows in the pilothouse provide superior visibility while a corner settee arranged behind a chart table offers a comfortable place to gather while cruising. The expanded flybridge has a built-in barbecue, refrigeration and sink, more-than-ample storage, and a wrap-around settee with a dining table arranged under a fiberglass hard top. SALON Entering the salon from the aft deck through the double doors you are immediately impressed by the spaciousness and ambiance of the salon. The soft ultra-leather headliner, in combination with the teak overhead hand rail and teak cabinetry, gives rise to feelings of warmth and relaxation. With nearly 19' of beam, the salon provides ample space for entertaining guests. The open floor plan of the salon encompasses the galley and perfectly balances scale with function. The aft port side corner features a custom granite topped desk featuring cabinets, drawers, and a swivel mounted stool. Moving forward along the port side is a large L-shape settee, which wraps in along the galley counter top and is complimented by two freestanding ottomans that double as coffee tables. Additional seating is provided by another settee to starboard, which includes a mounted teak dining table that slides for easier access to the settee and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate six for dining. Two cushioned D-stools provide additional table seating and can also double as ottomans, side tables, and provide internal storage. Aft of the starboard side settee is the audio-video cabinet which features a 43" HD LED TV situated on a retractable lift. Forward of the starboard settee resides a cabinet with drawers and slide-out bottle storage.
GALLEY The spacious galley features granite counter tops and is equipped with a double-bowl sink, filtered water and insta-hot dispensers, waste disposal, convection microwave, induction four burner cook top with custom potholders, stainless steel oven, teak faced side-by-side refrigerator, and a dishwasher. A slide-out storage compartment just forward of the cooktop can accommodate a full range of cookware. A dish locker and small pantry on the starboard side provides additional storage and a convenient serving counter for morning coffee or tea.
ACCOMODATIONS The accommodations layout features a central passage which has proved to be so desirable over many years in the Fleming 55. This layout contributes to an easy and convenient flow of traffic throughout as well as making it possible to appreciate the full length of the boat from forepeak bulkhead to transom. The arrangement provides a two berth guest cabin to starboard, a three berth stateroom to port, and an en-suite master stateroom forward. The accommodations are dressed with teak and ultra-leather and offer great comfort and convenience without any steep stairs to negotiate. Russound audio/video control panels are situated throughout the staterooms and centrally located in the passageway behind a sliding teak door is the full-sized Bosch Axxis washer & separate dryer that vents overboard. The master stateroom includes a queen-sized island berth, a layout which allows easy access from either side of the berth via three steps. The recessed skylight overhead, in combination with port holes to either side provide natural light to the cabin. Ample storage is found via his and hers hanging lockers, drawers, & shelving to either side. To the aft starboard wall is a three drawer dresser with a wall-mounted 40" HD TV above. Additional storage is accomplished via a large cavity underneath the bed that is accessed through a electric hydraulic lift. The spacious en-suite master head is to port. Both master and guest head are exceptionally spacious with generous glass and polished stainless shower enclosures. Hansgrohe fixtures and granite countertops compliment the matching granite floor in the one piece molded fiberglass shower stall. The port stateroom features two twin-berths separated by a nightstand with a third slide out upper bunk outboard allowing for additional headroom when a third is not expected. A large hanging locker with drawers is forward of the berths along with a mirror, cabinets, and a wall- mounted 22" TV. Further storage is provided by storage drawers beneath the berths. The starboard stateroom features twin over-under bunks. Underneath the upper bunk is a hanging locker, which along with the other drawers and cabinets, provides ample storage for the longest of trips. PILOTHOUSE The pilothouse of the Fleming 65 is impressively laid out and can be separated from the rest of the vessel via a bi-fold privacy door. This feature along with ability to convert settee to berth along with day head, allows the pilothouse to double as a stateroom or captains quarters. The forward console area has been designed to accommodate a full array of today's modern electronics, and easy accessibility has been built in to allow for service and future upgrades. The electrical distribution panels are below the main controls and are hinged and illuminated for access and service. Visibility forward and to port and starboard is excellent, and the two sliding doors at either side open to the wide side decks. The traditional teak and holly sole is standard with fitted carpeting on top. A raised corner settee and teak table is located to port which provides an excellent visibility while underway. A dedicated chart table resides to starboard of the console and comes equipped with large drawers for charts, cruising books, laptops, and navigation instruments. A convenient day head is located to starboard. A single Stidd helm chair and a large stainless steel teak-accented destroyer wheel compliments the ambiance of this ultimate cruising yacht.
FLYBRIDGE The flybridge is easily accessed from the pilothouse or by ladder from the cockpit. The double upper helm and console are located to port, separated from the rest of the flybridge and raised slightly for improved visibility. The back side of the electronics console can hinge open for easy access from within the pilothouse, overhead of the corner settee. The starboard side of the flybridge features a U-shaped settee and a custom molded table with granite inlay. Across from the settee consists of a grill, deep freezer chest, along with a wet bar with sink, icemaker, and refrigerator. Flybridge Helm:

DECK & CONSTRUCTION In common with all Flemings, the hull is hand laid solid fiberglass reinforced with a grid of stringers and frames. Vinylester resin is used above and below the waterline with further protection below the waterline provided by epoxy barrier coats. Propeller tunnels allows for a modest draft while ensuring the running gear is protected by a full-length keel which is foam filled and glassed across the top to isolate it from the hull. Special attention has been paid to the ease and safety in which the heavy duty ground tackle is set and retrieved. The anchor platform accepts two anchors, each of which can be controlled by a handheld unit at the platform or by windlass controls at both the pilothouse and flybridge stations. On deck she has the familiar walk-around decks we are used to seeing on all the Flemings and the high bulwarks and Portuguese Bridge provide security for both children and pets. The foredeck features hatches in the cabin trunk which allow for a tremendous amount of storage. The foredeck access houses the chain locker and is a great storage location for the larger fenders. Fuel fills are conveniently located on each side under the steps to the Portuguese bridge. A high speed transfer pump and large bore transfer lines ease refueling. The capacious cockpit has built-in seating through corner lockers with twin cable masters housed within. Cockpit docking controls are located starboard of the salon doors while storage is located conveniently to port, beneath the step ladder to the flybridge. Lockable hatches against gaskets provide access to the engine room and spacious lazarette.
MECHANICAL The engine room is accessed from a hatch outside the salon doors which leads down to the oval, submarine-style, engine-room door with viewing port. Systems and engineering are a notable feature of all Fleming Yachts whose philosophy has always been to choose only the best equipment available for the job and make sure that it is readily accessible for maintenance. To achieve the extremely low sound and vibration that Flemings are known for, Sea Torque Systems bolt on shaft systems transfer the thrust directly to the hull and isolate the engine by using soft engine mounts. The lazarette houses the water tanks, steering gear and air conditioning compressors while also leaving ample room for storing cruising gear such as spare anchors, rode, lines, fenders, and parts. Having the A/C compressors located here instead of in a hot engine room improves performance and efficiency and minimizes noise. Additionally, all battery isolation switches are accessible from outside the engine-room.
